BOOK YOUR INTENSIVE
You've spent countless hours scrolling through Creative Market and Canva looking for the perfect logo template, but nothing feels like you
DIY-ing everything for your business is starting to get exhausting
You have a vision in mind for how you want your branding to look, but you don't have the skill (or the time) to get it done right
Professional brand design sounds great, but the price tag and/or time commitment doesn't
Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, I've got good news.
A Brand Intensive with Homeward Creative Co. is a design experience for business owners who are tired of DIY and ready to elevate their brand image.
We've simplified the brand design process. With just 2 days of design work (plus a little prep work to get started), you'll walk away with the cohesive branding basics you need to stand out from the crowd and share your business with confidence.
a peek at the process
After your Intensive is booked, you’ll get started on your client prep work, which includes a questionnaire and Pinterest board. We’ll also schedule your prep call for 1 week before your design day.
On our prep call, I’ll present 2 creative concepts for you to choose from. We’ll also go through how our design day will work and talk through our list of priorities for the day.
On your scheduled design days, we’ll stay in touch and hop on Zoom calls to work through feedback and make revisions in real time. All the files you need for your brand will be delivered by the end of day 2, and you’ll be ready to use everything right away!
"Give. Emma. Your. Money!! I had no idea I needed something like the Design Intensive. From all of the BTS to the launching phase, she walked me through every inch of the process and over-communicated everything. I was a hard case because I knew I needed a revamp, but I had no idea what I wanted. Emma came in and opened my eyes to a whole new universe. I've never felt more understood and valued. I handed her my entire business, and she took it and made it ten thousand times better. The result was better than I could've ever imagined."
"She takes the time to listen to what your vision is and excels in creating a design and branding elements that fit YOU! Emma is great with communication and I always felt prepared and prepped for all of our meetings. She does exactly what she says she is going to do, and you can trust her to deliver your branding dreams come true!!"
Sure, you can! The problem is, with so many new businesses buying the same logo templates, they all start looking the same. If you’re going to purchase a template that an unlimited number of people have access to, how many of them are going to take the time to customize it? How many other people are using that exact same template? There could be 100 people with a nearly identical logo.
I'm a firm believer that not everyone needs to work with a designer right away, but I also believe that if you have the resources to invest in custom design, it's often better than the DIY option. Not only for the value, but to save you time and energy too!
Yes! For Brand Intensives, I typically ask for 50% up front to reserve your date, then the remainder is due before the end of the day on your design day. If that really won't work for you, we can work together to create a payment plan that works for both of us.
The prep work we do makes this is very unlikely to happen! However, if for some reason we arrive at the end, and the basics still aren't finalized, then we'll evaluate. If the fault was on my end, I'll make it right! If there's another reason, we may need to book another half-day Intensive to complete the project with fresh eyes.
You'll always walk away from your Intensive with a primary logo, secondary logo, submark(s), font selections, and your color palette (with HEX codes included).
However, I can not guarantee we'll be able to complete any extra additions. In many cases, we can! But depending on how the days go, we may or may not be able to complete any extras on your "nice to have" list. If you still have some extra collateral you want after we've completed your Intensive, you're always welcome to book another Intensive or a Design À La Carte session!
On your end, the prep work includes a Questionnaire and usually a Pinterest board for gathering visual inspiration. When that's completed, I'll put together two different branding concepts for you to choose from.
I'll present these concepts on our Prep Call, where you'll choose a direction and we can refine as needed. On the call, we'll also create a list of "nice to have" items, I'll explain our schedule for the design days, and give you a chance to ask any questions you have.
To be perfectly honest with you, in most cases, a single logo isn't going to do much to help your business grow. I strongly believe if you're going to invest in professional branding design, you need at least a primary logo plus variations. That's what makes Brand Intensives great for business owners who just need the basics to get started!
I want to make sure you not only get a beautiful brand identity that you love, but a real return on your investment too. For this reason, I don't offer single logo designs.
In most cases, the short answer is no. But it never hurts to ask! On your Discovery Call, you can show me your current logo and we'll talk about it. It's likely that once we've completed the prep work and decided on a concept, your current logo won't fit with the direction we're taking your brand. But if it does turn out to be a perfect fit, then we'll consider keeping it. With a rebrand, most of the time it's best to start fresh!
